It's easy have positive attitude and think about money all the time, but real life doesn't work that way.
This is probably the reason why so many people fail to actually manifest money they think they deserve. It does no good to sit on the couch all day and think about the riches you will one day come across and expect all that money to somehow find you and land in your lap.
Instead you should focus on the task at hand and what you are doing right now - the task at hand hopefully moves you forward towards the money you so much desire.
I see this happen to myself all the time when I'm trading and I've had it happen to me time and time again that I sometimes wonder if I will ever learn my lesson.
You see, there were some days I wake and say to myself "Today I'm going to make lots of money! I'm going to make $1000 or $2000 today without a doubt!". On those days, I keep this attitude and all I see are dollar signs in my eyes and I think to myself that it will somehow find me today.
So what usually ends up happening when I have this attitude?
I almost always end up losing money!
Why?
It's because I end up forcing myself to take action and taking trades that I shouldn't - all I could think about was the 1000s of dollars waiting for me at the end of the day. In fact, there were some days that were going good, but in the end I'd lose it all because I'd force myself to take on more trades to reach my target.
However, some of my best trading days were the ones in which I focused completely on what I was doing - waiting for a great trade, having the patience, and executing my trades. On almost all my best trading days, I never intended to make a certain amount of money - instead I just told myself I'd focus on trading well and nothing else.
The really good days are those days that I least expected it because I focused on what I was doing and money inevitably followed.
The same should hold true in whatever it is you are doing. If all you're doing is thinking about money all the time, it isn't going to help you if you don't focus your attention on how you're going to get it.
If you have the mentality that money is all you're after, you will soon find yourself taking unnecessary or unwarranted action that will get you nowhere near your goals.
Think about all those seminars that promise riches and tons of money. Whether they are real estate seminars, trading seminars, or online business seminars - many millions of people attend these seminars every year, many paying high sums of money just to attend them.
What ends up happening?
The vast majority never end up fulfilling their dreams of riches because most of them focused on the money they would be making instead of focusing on the business that would help them get there. The end result is that many will end up losing money (i.e. investing in the business or taking seminars).
From my experience, I would definitely have to say that if you focus on what you love (in my case, trading) and on the task at hand, then and money will follow. The key is trying not to force that money to come, or you'll end up like me and wind up losing money!
