East Meets West - Feng Shui & The Law Of Attraction

Feng Shui.

What is it?

It's the ancient Chinese art of positioning objects and ornaments to bring balance, good luck, health and wealth into one's life. By positioning or placing objects in certain areas in your home or office, you counter-act any negative forces that you may encounter.

Things like moving a bed to face south or placing your office desk so that you are facing the door are some examples of Feng Shui arrangement. Even things like dwelling location and the shape of buildings are looked at by Feng Shui masters.

In Asia, it is common for a business invest in a Feng Shui expert to arrange their offices and buildings to bring luck and wealth and to bring synergy with it's employees.

So how does this compare with the Law Of Attraction?

I believe that both are very similar in nature.

The Law Of Attraction tells people to focus their energy on success, to get people to think positive and that the Universe will deliver if they keep this mindset. When people have this attitude, they keep their motivation high and they can accomplish anything.

Feng Shui does exactly the same thing. When a Feng Shui master re-arranges a person's furniture to bring good luck and fortune, one cannot help but feel better about it. It makes the person BELIEVE they will be a success, which in turn, gets them to think positive and that luck will come their way - in a way, you can say that they BELIEVE the Universe will deliver.

Let's look at two scenarios.

Scenario #1 has a person (let's call him Bob) utilizing the Law Of Attraction for his business. He does his visualizing and gets highly motivated each and every day. In his mind, he knows he is a success and he tells himself this every day.

Whenever he meets with clients, his confidence shows because he knows that the Universe will deliver and because Bob constantly takes inspired actions to get his business off and running.

Now let's look at scenario #2 where Lindsay is utilizing Feng Shui for her business. She gets a Feng Shui master to carefully select an office location and and to arrange her furniture so that they are in harmony with her business.

One the Feng Shui master is finished, Lindsay cannot help but feel like a million dollars. With her office location and new arrangement, she can feel all the success and wealth ready to walk through the door. With every client she meets, she shows confidence because she knows that there is synergy between herself, her business, and her clients. She also knows that luck is on her side so she seizes any opportunities she sees.

You can see that both Bob and Lindsay feel exactly the same way and that both had their minds set on success.

In short, Feng Shui really is like the eastern version of The Law Of Attraction - they both work on the same premise, but applied in a different way!
